UPDATED, 7:15 AM: Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for Jake Gyllenhaal‘s legal thriller series Presumed Innocent.

It begins with a voiceover by Gyllenhaal’s Rusty Sabich, saying “Love isn’t what people tell you that it is. In my experience it’s just something that grows.

Until one day, you find yourself needing someone.” It’s the beginning of a steamy affair that ends up with Gyllenhaal’s Rusty looking guilty for murder.

But is he? Presumed Innocent, from David E. Kelley and J.J. Abrams, premieres Wednesday, June 12. Watch the trailer above. PREVIOUS, April 24: Apple TV+ has moved up the premiere date for Presumed Innocent, its upcoming limited series starring and executive produced by Jake Gyllenhaal.
