Everton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin says players are prepared to play until August to get the Premier League season finished.
The Premier League are looking at a range of dates for the resumption of the season, with June 1 mooted, giving clubs a six-week window in which to finish the campaign.
Everton are scheduled to return to training on April 17, which Schneiderlin feels is too early, with the midfielder willing to play on until close to the starting date for next season if need be. “They [the authorities] will take the best possible decision,” said Schneiderlin. “Football comes second here.
