Kate Ferdinand has already decided what kind of birth she wants for her second child with husband Rio. The 31 year old welcomed their son Cree into the world back in 2020 under less-than-ideal circumstances, having endured hours of labour before doctors were forced into performing an emergency C-section.
Now, the former The Only Way is Essex star is taking matters into her own hands, as Kate revealed on the Motherkind podcast this week: "I'm having a C-section because I had to have an emergency one last time, and that's OK. "Last time, I had an emergency C-section, and I had all the way pushing and then it went wrong.
I've kind of had both births [already]… I think I know what I'm doing and I'm hopeful that it might be easier," she told host Zoe Blaskey.
This comes after the reality TV personality candidly spoke to Fabulous magazine about her through-the-roof anxiety in the wake of Cree's emotionally testing arrival. "I think I cried every single day for about five weeks," she admitted. "You expect to be doing everything you possibly can for your baby and when you can’t… It was something I really struggled with. "I was in my own little world, I felt really confused and had lots of anxiety and I didn’t think anyone understood." "I've always been super emotional – whatever I'm feeling, everyone always knows.
