Jesy Nelson has opened up about the complications she is experiencing during her pregnancy in a heartfelt new Instagram video.The former Little Mix singer, 34, alongside her partner Zion Foster, shared an intimate glimpse into their journey, revealing the heightened risks involved with their expectant identical twins.

Jesy broke down in tears as she revealed she has been undergoing ultrasound scans twice a week because of the potential "complications" of her unborn twins sharing a placenta.

Jesy explained to followers: "So we just wanted to come on here and do a little video. As some of you may know, we are having twins, which is so exciting for us, and we just wanted to let you in on a bit of our journey of what we've been going through.

So we are having identical twins, which is so exciting, we're just like, we actually can't believe it. But unfortunately, there are complications that come with having identical having identical twins." She continued: "The type of twins we are having are called Mono/Di twins, and with that, so normally, most twins will have two placentas that they feed off of.
