The Powerball jackpot is at an estimated $1.3 billion ahead of Saturday night’s drawing, tying the record for the longest streak without a jackpot winner.
The Powerball jackpot hasn’t been won since Jan. 1, when a ticket sold in Michigan produced a $842.4 million jackpot. Saturday will be the 41st drawing in the current jackpot run.
Two other previous Powerball jackpot runs have reached 41 drawings before producing a grand prize winner, according to Powerball.
The estimated $1.3 billion jackpot is the fourth-largest jackpot in Powerball history and the eighth-largest overall when factoring in Mega Millions jackpots.
