‘Power Book II: Ghost’ Season 4 Draws Strong Debut Audience On Starz
deadline.comPower Book II: Ghost is delivering a big audience for its final season. The Starz series’ Season 4 launched its first part on June 7, becoming one of the network’s largest debuts ever.
Starz reports that the episodes drew 6.5M multi-platform viewers in their first week. Notably, the network says that there was a sense of “urgency” from viewers to watch the latest episodes, with 11% of premiere day streams coming in the first hour after it launched.
It should come as no surprise that the Power franchise wields quite a bit of influence for Starz, considering that it has amassed 1.5B hours watched globally to date.
Power Book II: Ghost was canceled in March. The series was the first spinoff to come from Power, and it follows Ghost’s son who, after killing his father and covering up, attempts to start fresh and far from his father’s criminal empire.
