Poundland shopper bags £64 worth of goods for free after items scan as 0p at the till

Parents across the UK are preparing to send their children back to school next month for the first time since the coronavirus lockdown was introduced in March.

It's sparked a mass of panic-buyers, with many families hoping to get involved in school uniform grants and discounts before September kicks in.

But how else can you save and where are the discounts hidden? Well, one woman has revealed how she managed to bag an entire haul of back to school essentials for free at Poundland this week.

The shopper got her hands on 127 back to school items for free, saving her £63.50. Revealing her savings on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, she said the items, which were initially reduced to 50p, scanned as 0p at the till.
