Diners hoping to take advantage of the new Eat Out to Help Out scheme from next month can now check what restaurants will be participating - including small, independent chains across the UK.
The Treasury has launched a new postcode checker to help diners locate the restaurants and pubs that will be offering the new meal deal initiative from August 3.
The scheme was first unveiled by chancellor Rishi Sunak on July 9, alongside a six month VAT cut on days out, staycations and takeaways.
