The Post Office has said it will deliver cash to vulnerable Brits shielding at home and unable to get out. Working with the DWP to identify those most in need, the Post Office is combining it's foreign exchange cash delivery arm with Royal Mail Special Delivery to see the money gets to people by 9pm the day after it's ordered.
Post Office chief executive Nick Read said: “I am delighted that Post Office has been able to switch its travel money delivery business to get cash directly to those that need it most. "Working with the DWP we are able to help some of the most vulnerable in our society, including those who have been asked to shield themselves at home, with the ability to deliver cash directly to their door.” The National Shielding
