A popular Polish food event featuring a variety of savoury and sweet dishes will be returning to Manchester next week. Platzki’s Piergoi’s annual festival has announced its return to Manchester on Wednesday, September 27 and Thursday, September 28.
The event will feature a selection of foods with famous Polish dumplings being the main staple with fillings ranging from ‘Kazcka’, a slow-cooked duck filling accompanied with plum or the ‘Karkowa’ a filling featuring pork and vegetables.
Vegetarian and vegan options will be available on the day which includes ‘Fasolka’ - a dumpling filled with crushed butter, roasted peppers and roasted tomatoes.
Sweet options will also be available for customers with ‘Slodkie’, a popular Polish staple of sweet Pierogi that is accompanied by cottage cheese, vanilla sugar and blueberries.
