A popular footballer took his own life after struggling to deal with the domestic abuse he suffered as a child, an inquest heard.
Marc Palin, 20, was found by people walking in a country park in Farnworth, Bolton on May 15 last year. He was rushed to hospital where doctors had to tell his devastated family he would be severely brain damaged if he lived.
