Pontins has confirmed it will be closing two of its seaside resorts with "immediate effect". The statement was made via the organisation's official Facebook page today (November 20).
It told customers that both the Prestatyn and Camber Sands locations will be immediately shut down. Pontins is owned by Britannia Hotels who run a wide array of locations across the UK.
The company recorded record profits earlier in the year but ranked as the UK's worst hotel chain by Which? for the 11th consecutive year, the Liverpool Echo reports.
