Police warning over reports of planned 'car cruise' meet

Greater Manchester Police said the force was 'aware' of a planned meet in the Wigan area. As a result, police presence in the area has been increased, GMP said. No further details - or a time - have been revealed. But police said they believed the event was being planned for later on Saturday 'around' the Westwood Way bypass - the A49.
