A 22-year-old man was left with 'serious injuries' after he was 'punched in the head' in Manchester. Greater Manchester Police are asking the public to help trace down a man after the 22-year-old was taken to hospital.

The attack happened on Thomas Street, in the Northern Quarter, in Manchester's city centre. The man was assaulted at around 10.45pm on September 11 last year.

Police say they have 'exhausted all lines of enquiry' since the incident more than four months ago. The man, who has blonde hair, has been captured wearing a black 'Vivienne Westwood' t-shirt with a white logo.
