manchestereveningnews.co.ukPolice are still hunting for a driver who fled the scene after a 16-year-old boy was seriously injured in a crash. The crash happened on Parkill Road in Bury at around 9.30pm on Saturday night (November 27).
The boy was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved, a Toyota Avensis. He had to be cut free from the wreckage by firefighters and was taken to hospital. READ MORE:The Greater Manchester town where men die before their time His condition was serious but not life-threatening, police said.
The force said the driver of the Toyota, which hit a parked car, fled the scene. In an update this morning (Monday), a spokesperson for GMP said no arrests had been made yet in relation to the incident.
