Police investigating the discovery of a man’s body in the River Forth have released a picture of his t-shirt in a bid to identify him.
The grim find was made near Preston Island, Culross, Fife, on August 5 after a member of the public raised the alarm. Ongoing efforts to find out who the man is have so far proved unsuccessful prompting a fresh appeal from cops.The man is described as white, around 5ft 10in tall with greying dark hair and is believed to be between 40 to 60-years-old.He was found wearing black Nike trainers, black Lonsdale jogging bottoms, a black Lonsdale hooded top and a green t-shirt with a logo reading “DOWNTOWN”.Officers need to trace the man’s relatives and are currently treating his death as “unexplained”.
