Police have released a photo of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the rape of a 14-year-old girl in Salford. According to police, at around 5am on Sunday 23rd February, a man approached two 14-year-old girls in Piccadilly Gardens.
The man allegedly had a brief conversation with the girls and all three of them then got in a black taxi near Lever Street. Police said the man took the girls to an address in Romney Street, where he raped one of the girls.
Constable Ansah Yakub of GMP’s City of Manchester District said: “This deplorable attack has had a significant impact on a young girl, leaving her feeling violated and unsafe.
