Police release image of man wanted in connection with serious assault in Paisley

Detectives in Renfrewshire have released an image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with a serious assault which occurred in Paisley almost eight months ago.A 27-year-old was rushed to hospital following the incident after sustaining serious injuries.

At the time an appeal for information was published in the Paisley Daily Express following the attack, which occurred on Sunday, June 25 around 12.20am on Gilmour Street.

The CCTV shot, pictured above, from the doorway of a premises on the street shared by the police shows a white male standing on the pavement.

He has dark hair, was wearing a black hooded top, black shorts and black trainers, and was also carrying a drawstring bag.
