Police are investigating after trouble broke out following Manchester City's clash with Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium. The Manchester Evening News understands two men were seen fighting, and that they were both Arsenal fans. One suffered worse injuries than the other with paramedics being called.
He was treated in a police van but did not go to hospital. The other man was arrested at the scene, but claimed he had acted in self-defence.
