A police friend of PCSO Julia James said her murder has left the entire force "in shock" - as the killer remains at large. Kelly Adsia, also a PCSO who knew the victim from Canterbury, Kent, came to see the floral tributes laid for her pal on Saturday.
Ms James's body was found on the edge of woodland in Snowdown, near Aylesham, on Tuesday. Police said a post-mortem exam ruled she died from "significant head injuries" and a murder probe has been launched.
