A tenth person has been arrested in connection with the murder of nine-year-old Olivia Pratt-Korbel in Liverpool. Olivia was tragically gunned down at her home on Kingsheath Avenue, in the Dovecot area of the city, at 10pm on Monday, August 22.
Her killer tried to force his way into the nine-year-old's home in his pursuit of 35-year-old Joseph Nee. He had stormed into her family home when mum Cheryl opened the door after she heard loud bangs outside.
Then, the gunman opened fire, first hitting the mum in the wrist, with the same bullet fatally hitting Olivia in the chest. Today (September 9), police in Liverpool announced a tenth man, 18, has been held. A statement from the force said: “We have arrested an 18 year-old man in connection with the murder of nine year-old Olivia Pratt-Korbel.
