Police have launched an urgent appeal for a missing man who left hospital 'before medical staff were able to treat him'. Officers say they are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

He was last seen at around 5pm on Sunday walking towards the Darnton Road exit of Tameside General Hospital. The man is believed to be Albanian and is described as being of medium build with dark brown hair and is aged between late 20s to early 30s.

He has a black eye and a head injury and was last seen wearing a light grey hoody, light grey jogging bottoms and white trainers.
