A man who was arrested in connection with a spate of attacks on an adult store in Manchester's Gay Village has been released on bail, police have confirmed.

Clonezone on Sackville Street has been targeted by thugs five times this year. In the latest incident, on Sunday, September 10, two men approached the shop on a bike before launching the attack.

One masked offender attempted to break the steel panels guarding the shopfront before throwing an object at the doors and security equipment, causing around £3,500 worth of damage.

This came after a spate of attacks in March, April and May.
