Police have launched an investigation after a man was assaulted in Kilmarnock tonight.Officers were called to the New Farm Loch area of town at around 6pm after receiving a report a 39-year-old man was assaulted.Police say that enquiries are at an early stage.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police are in attendance following a report of a 39-year-old man having been assaulted in the Newfarm area of Kilmarnock around 6pm on Monday, November 7, 2022.
