Charity shop volunteers have been left devastated after hundreds of pounds in cash and a number of donated items were stolen in a burglary.
The Sue Ryder store in the Wigan village of Pemberton was ransacked in the early hours of Monday morning (February 20) after burglars forced the metal shutters open and forced their way inside.
Photographs taken from the shop shows empty boxes and open drawers, as well s a till that has been emptied out of everything but coppers.
The store had to remain closed on Monday, due to the damage and loss of stock, a spokesman for the charity shop said. A boss also confirmed that almost £400 in money was taken, along with a number of goods that were set to be sold online.
