The possibility that a mother and child found dead at their Salford home were overcome by fumes is a line of inquiry police are pursuing.
The bodies of 'devoted' mother Martina Karos, 40, and her disabled eight-year-old daughter, Eleni Edwards, were discovered at a house on South Radford Street on Monday morning (September 23).
Greater Manchester Police has launched an investigation, with detectives treating it as a suspected suicide-murder case, the Manchester Evening News understands.
Martina's friends said Eleni was 'severely disabled'. They said Martina suffered from mental ill-health and was 'really struggling'.
