Sign up to the weekly West Lothian Courier newsletter for the latest West Lothian news and sport.Police are still appealing for the occupants of a white car to come forward after a man died on the M8 at West Lothian on New Year’s Day.Road policing officers are asking the public to come forward with any information after the pedestrian was struck by a number of vehicles on the M8 between junction 3A and 4 for Blackburn.The incident happened on the westbound carriageway around 2.45am on Friday, January 1 and the 44-year-old man died at the scene.The road was closed while collision investigation work was carried out and re-opened around 11am.Police Scotland told The Courier, as of January 5, they are still looking for the driver of the white.
