Police hunt man with 'prominent ears' after unprovoked attack in Kilmarnock

Police are hunting a man with prominent ears following an unprovoked attack in Kilmarnock at the weekend.The 45-year-old was on a footpath between Knockinlaw Road and Western Road around 3.30pm on Sunday when he was assaulted.The victim was rushed to Crosshouse Hospital for treatment and was later release, police confirmed today.Officers say they're keen to speak to a man seen in the area at the time.

He’s described as white, in his 40s, around 6ft tall, bald or shaved hair and prominent ears.
