police probe has been launched after a man was deliberately hit by a car in Hamilton. The shocking incident took place at around 12.45pm on Wednesday, November 25, at an address in Kelvin Gardens.

A white Ford Fiesta struck the 35-year-old before two men got out of the vehicle and attempted to assault the victim. The car - registration SD11 THV - was driven off in the direction of Udston Road before later being found burnt out on North South Road, Cleland, just hours later.Officers say the two men responsible for the targeted hit were both wearing black clothing and balaclavas.No serious injuries have been reported.They are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or the car driving erratically in the area around the time of.
