Police searched the Bury New Road phone shop after spotting a robbery suspect leaving. He was arrested and a phone he was suspected of stealing was found hidden at the back of the shop wrapped in silver foil.
Police then carried out a search of the shop and found dozens of other suspected stolen phones and parts. In total 800 items have been seized.
