B&B guests who threw a booze-fuelled party in a tiny room - breaching coronavirus lockdown rules - were thrown out by police and forced to pay for other customers' stays.

Nine people crammed into the two-person suite in Grimsby and treated it like "Travelodge-esque accommodation" with beer bottles and cans scattered all over the floor and the toilet seat left broken.

The livid owner of Beldon House said two young people booked the room and let seven friends in via the fire escape "as they can’t drink together in their own houses
or pubs", GrimsbyLive reports.

The owner retaliated by charging other guests' bills to the credit card of the party host, whose parents later covered the damages.
