Police have authorised a dispersal order in a Bolton neighbourhood this afternoon after reports of young people 'causing harassment and nuisance'.
Officers will be patrolling an area in Little Lever in an effort to 'target, identify, and take appropriate action' against individuals responsible, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said.
The order, which runs from 3pm on Friday (December 8) to midnight gives the force powers to order people to leave an area. The order covers a section inside the A6503 Hall Lane, Victory Road, Dove Bank Road, Tong Road, and includes the edge of Moses Gate Country Park.
GMP said 'extra officers' will be deployed around the area this evening.
