Police attacked by huge crowd as they try to break up illegal street party

Police have been pelted with bottles as they try to break up an illegal lockdown street party at an estate in west London. Footage captures huge crowds forcing Met Police officers back from the estate in White City tonight.

Hammersmith & Fulham Police tweeted that the force is aware of a number of people gathered this evening at an unlicensed music event in Havelock Close.

Dozens of officers carrying shields could be seen running and shouting in one clip as crowds chase them away. "These boys retreating," a man filming the scenes says as the police back off across the road with a crowd advancing on them.
