Police have arrested a man after officers were called to a firearms discharge in Preston, Lancashire. Officers were called to the scene at around 9am on Tuesday morning, February 27, and several roads in the city have been closed off.

It is understood shots were fired close to London Road and a cordon is in place in front of a row of shops close to Mahjaros restaurant and pizzeria, LancsLive reports.
