Police appeal over incident in shop 15 minutes before dad, 24, stabbed to death

Detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of a dad in Ancoats are appealing for information about an incident in a shop that took place just 15 minutes before he was killed.

Neri Morse, 24, tragically died after an incident on Pollard Street, just outside of the city centre, at around 6.30pm on Wednesday, April 20.

During this incident, a second man - also aged in his 20s - was injured. In an update issued this afternoon (April 25), police said they believe this was linked an incident at Zaf's Go Local on Butler Street between 6.15pm and 6.25pm that evening.
