deadline.comAfter its Season 2 renewal in February 2023, Rian Johnson’s and Natasha Lyonne’s Poker Face the case-of-the-week mystery series is back in production for its next installment.
Season 1 of the Peacock show featured 10 episodes of Lyonne’s Charlie Cale, a Vegas casino worker whose keen sense of honesty leads to a Columbo-style show and reverse detective format.
Johnson, who also has Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery in the works with a stacked cast, describes the show as a “howcatchem” versus a “whodunit” which is the format of the Knives Outand Glass Onion films.
