The Pointless quizzer, 50, seems to have had the opportunity to star on the interesting series, in which famous faces delve into their genealogy series and trace their family tree to find out about the lives their ancestors led, but his history did not make the cut.
Billericay native Richard took to Twitter on Wednesday to share that researchers from the show started to look for family secrets and forgotten stories but they did not have much luck - which would make for dull viewing.
