Bolton Wanderers return to League One action this weekend when they host Lincoln City. Wanderers were not in action over the international break.
Their scheduled match on the road to take on Portsmouth at Fratton Park was called off due to call-ups and will need to have a fresh date selected.
But the action carried on throughout much of League One as many teams were unaffected by call-ups. Eight out of 12 games in the third tier of English football took place over the course of the weekend, which concluded yesterday with Plymouth Argyle's win at Home Park over Ipswich Town. As things stand, Ipswich and Sheffield Wednesday remain the two side tipped to be clinching automatic promotion and playing back in the Championship again.
