Whilst every way of drying laundry costs time or money, a plumbing expert is urging Brits against this particular method. Jordan Chance at PlumbNation has explained drying clothes on radiators puts more pressure on your boiler, which means higher bills, reported RSVP Live.
He advised: "We would recommend that you stop using your radiators to dry your clothes. "The clothes that you place over the top of your radiators prevent the heat from escaping and heating your room, meaning that your boiler has to pick up the slack and work at a greater rate - increasing costs." Another issue with using your radiators is the health problems it can cause in the long run, reports the Express.
