A renewed plea to trace a Scots man missing for over two decades has been made on the week of his 50th birthday. Paul Bentley was only 28 when he disappeared from Glasgow 22 years ago.
He was last seen in Nitshill, in the south of the city, before there were unconfirmed sightings of him in Paisley. Since October 26, 2000, his current whereabouts has remained unknown, Glasgow Live reports.
Missing People - a UK charity that provides specialist support to families of those that have disappeared - issued an appeal to trace Paul on Twitter.
They said: "This week is Paul Bentley's birthday. Paul was 28-years-old when he went missing from Glasgow, Strathclyde, on October 26, 2000."Our thoughts are with Paul's family at this time.""To help the search, call or text us on 116 000."
