The dust is settling on Manchester United's decision to sack Erik ten Hag and Ineos are wasting little time in finding his replacement.
United have agreed a deal in principle with Sporting manager Ruben Amorim to take over the club, with a deal on compensation now needing to be decided.
The Lisbon club confirmed the Reds' approach on Tuesday and have set their price at £8.3m (€10m). It is believed United are willing to pay this amount for Amorim, so a deal for his services should be wrapped up briskly.
