Piers Morgans blasts Love Island's new care package as he calls contestants 'dimwits'

Piers Morgan is never shy about sharing his opinion. And he has now decided to take aim at reality star hopefuls preparing to appear on Love Island this summer by branding them "dimwits".

The star - - who is no longer fronting Good Morning after he left the ITV show in March - took to Twitter to comment after ITV announced the steps the channel are taking to protect the mental wellbeing of the contestants.

Bolshy Piers sneered at the plans, which include several therapy sessions given to the TV stars before they enter the villa, during and after as well as sessions on how to look after finances and deal with online trolling.
