Piers Morgan has pledged to make a donation to a Bury cancer charity after losing a bet with Manchester United legend Gary Neville.
The pair made the wager after Neville warned Arsenal fan Morgan that his team would "get done" ahead of their visit to Old Trafford on Sunday.
Neville tweeted last Thursday: "You’ll get done at Old Trafford Sunday! Forget the title." Morgan replied: "Fancy a £1000 bet to charity on that, T-Bag?" After United came out 3-1 winners in the Premier League fixture, Morgan promised to put his money where his mouth is. Replying to Neville, he tweeted: "Name your charity, T-Bag, payment will be made in the morning." Neville thanked Morgan and asked him to make the donation to Bury Cancer Support Centre in his hometown.
