Piers Morgan was pulled over by police for speeding minutes before he turned up to a celebrity golf tournament - and has no problem with it.
The Good Morning Britain host was blue lighted for going too fast in Hemel Hempstead on June 5. He was a guest of Paddy Power for an eight-challenge charity event at the Centurion Club - but his day didn't start well.
Police pulled him over as he approached the course and he says they were right to stop him. Writing in the Mail on Sunday's Event magazine, Piers admitted: "Things didn’t start well when I was stopped for speeding a mile from the club.
