Good Morning Britain 's Piers Morgan reminded viewers that the late Captain Sir Tom Moore was in real pain in the final years of his life, especially during his famous fundraising walks.
The WWII veteran, who died on Tuesday aged 100, raised more than £39million for the NHS by walking laps of his garden. But due to a horror accident in his home, he was in agony the entire time - though he never let it show and certainly never let it stop him.
Piers said: "Remember the pain he was in, I remember talking to him about this before we did Life Stories.
