Piers Morgan Is Being Called Out for Insensitive Larry King Post

Piers Morgan is being slammed by people on social media for his “tribute” to Larry King after the legendary interviewer’s death.

If you don’t remember, CNN removed Larry‘s longtime show Larry King Live back in 2011 and replaced it with Piers‘ unsuccessful show Piers Morgan Tonight.

After the sad news was announced, Piers tweeted, “Larry King was a hero of mine until we fell out after I replaced him at CNN & he said my show was ‘like watching your mother-in-law go over a cliff in your new Bentley.’ (He married 8 times so a mother-in-law expert) But he was a brilliant broadcaster & masterful TV interviewer.” Piers is now a trending topic on Twitter and the social media site even noted how he is being criticized over his remarks.
