Piers Morgan has blasted Chrissy Teigen after she made a public apology over her old Twitter comments. John Legend's wife Chrissy, 35, issued a statement on Monday 14 June, admitting she "was a troll, full stop", after Courtney Stodden revealed the cruel messages they had received from Chrissy in the past.

Chrissy said in the statement: "There is simply no excuse for my past horrible tweets." She added: "I took to Twitter to try to gain attention and show off what I at the time believed was a crude, clever, harmless quip.
