Piers Morgan has publicly outed a social media troll that had relentlessly messaged him abuse through his Twitter DMs. The 56-year-old former Good Morning Britain presenter, who is certainly not afraid of voicing his opinion on social media, took to Twitter on Thursday to name the critic in front of his millions of followers.

Alongside a screenshot of the messages as well as an image of the profile picture and name, Piers explained to his followers that he thought it was 'only fair' to expose him to nearly 8 million people.

However, the post was met with a mixed response - and some suggested that he does the same to Meghan Markle. In his original tweet, Piers wrote: "This guy likes to abuse me on Instagram but prefers to do it quietly
