Piers Morgan was delighted to finally get his £125 hair cut at a designer salon in Kensington. Salons opened their doors again to customers after being shut in the third national lockdown in the UK amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The TV presenter, who recently quit Good Morning Britain amid a storm of headlines about his rant over Meghan Markle, was one of the first in to get his grooming session.

A joyful photo captured the broadcast journalist giving the thumbs up as he posed with two hairdressing staff at the Daniel Galvin salon.

It was a mirror selfie captured on Piers' phone. Piers joined a whole galaxy of stars, from Stacey Solomon to Lizzie Cundy, making the most of the shops and hairdressers opening up again on Monday April 12
