The 55-year-old Good Morning Britain presenter had swapped the ITV studios for an appearance on Capital FM, where he was chatting to Roman Kemp, Sian Welby and Sonny Jay about his new book, Wake Up.
During his appearance, the presenters also asked for his thoughts on several showbiz topics, including the news that some A-list musicians are making a leap onto the silver screen.
In response, Piers admitted that he had actually had a run-in with Ariana and she ended up wining and dining with him in Los Angeles.
